Working with Men and Boys: Emerging strategies from across Africa to address Gender-based Violence and HIV/AIDS
The purpose of this case study collection is to showcase
some of the innovative programmes and policies
taking place across the African continent, working with
men and boys on issues related to gender, HIV, health,
development and social justice. It presents experiences
and lessons learned from a broad range of projects and
strategies including community mobilisation, education
programmes, advocacy using the courts, art-inspired
community change, workshops, sport, and public
policies.
