I am responsible for overall implementation and overseeing all Response and Prevention components of the project in Gihembe camp.My major roles would include: provision of technical support, guidance and leadership to the GBV Prevention and Response Officers in order to ensure quality GBV prevention and response programming in the camp; designing and implementing appropriate GBV prevention and response strategies and to ensure close working relationships and linkages with wide arrays of actors, including, local, International and UN agencies, community leaders and relevant government departments and ministries to ensure effective multi-sectoral prevention and response (through coordination & referrals); coordinate camp based/district level trainings and sensitization efforts on GBV. Strongly liase with other ARC sectors to coordinate activities, strengthen inter-sectoral referrals and create opportunities for program linkages.
