Ms Maria Rashid

I have been working with Rozan, a national NGO addressing issues of gender, VAW and Child sexual abuse for the last 12 years. In addition to providing support services to women survivors of violence, carrying out awareness raising activities and campaigns, Rozan conducts capacity building workshops with a wide array of actors such as CBO's, NGO's. school administration, media and state institutions. Rozan works with men and boys through providing counseling services to vulnerable youth and children, mobilizing men on issues of violence against women and carrying out qualitative research on men and masculinities. Rozan also runs a training programme for the police force in Pakistan with the goal of improving police response to VAW.
