[read more]The fifty-seventh session of the Commission on the Status of Women took place at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 4 to 15 March 2013. The theme was “Elimination and prevention of all forms of violence against women and girls”. Partners for Prevention (P4P), a UNDP, UNFPA, UN Women and UNV regional joint programme for gender-based violence prevention in Asia and the Pacific, presented some findings from its UN Multi-country Study on Men and Violence at the CSW57 side event “Why do men use violence and how do we stop it?
